Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Liberty Falls might be a smaller Zombies map, but it still contains some secrets to explore. One Easter egg includes gaining access to a locked vault, which contains free randomized loot items. Here is everything you need to know to find, unlock, and use the loot vault in Liberty Falls.
How to find the loot vault
The vault is inside the map’s bank point-of-interest called “Savings and Loans,” and you can access this location by starting from the left or right side map barrier. Either path choice costs the same here.
Inside the bank is a locked vault door. You’ll need a combination to unlock and gain access to this space.
How to find the vault’s unlock code
The combination needed for the vault is scattered on hidden notes found around the map. You’ll need to find all three notes, which will each give you two numbers for the 6-digit code.
This numerical combination will change each match, so you’ll always need to inspect the three notes, but the loot rewards are definitely worth your time.
This first piece of the code is found inside the bank. You’ll find a note on the countertop just outside the vault room.
The second piece is inside Ollie’s comic book shop. Go behind the counter and face the superhero statue, and then crouch or go prone to find a hidden note stuck inside a shelf.
The third piece is inside the bowling alley. Go to the concessions counter, and the note is underneath a bucket of beer. Shoot or melee the bucket, and it will disappear to reveal the final numbers for the code.
The order given above is also the same order you’ll need to input the codes into the vault’s combination lock.
How to use the vault
You can choose to enter the vault at any time once you’ve unlocked it. Zombies can’t reach you here, so you’ll get a 40-second breather while you loot the vault. You’re kicked out after the timer runs out.
You’ll be rewarded with some essence points for your first visit, but you’ll want to look for keys to loot off enemies. These keys are often dropped from Manglers and Abominations, and they come in various rarities. They are used to unlock the security boxes inside the vault.
The loot you get is random, but it’s still worth unlocking the vault for each playthrough. A green (common) key gave me a killstreak, a rare (blue) key gave me a random weapon of the same rarity, and an Epic (purple) key gave me a Ray Gun Wonder Weapon.
