Now that Festival of the Lost has kicked off and new Legend Haunted Sectors are testing fireteams, a quick visit to Xur to stock up on Exotic gear might be just what you need, As usual, the intergalactic arms dealer has landed in one his usual locations and has also brought with him a selection of Legendary-class weapons and armor. Here’s where Xur is this week and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur in the EDZ, in the Winding Cove area. For his weapon, Xur is offering Arbalest. Hunters can pick up the The Bombardiers leg armor; Titans can grab the Helm of Saint-14 helmet; and Warlocks can buy the Eye of Another World helmet.
Xur Location
Spawn in at the Winding Cove transmat zone, then hop on your sparrow and go north. Take the collapsed overpass on the left and look for a cave near the bend in the road. Follow the tunnel through the cliff face to reach a higher ridge where a Fallen dropship has crashed; you’ll find Xur waiting there.

The cap on Exotic Ciphers has also increased, as you’ll now be able to hold up to five of them at a time.
Exotic Armor
Helm of Saint-14 (Exotic Titan helmet)
For the Titan Void specialist who loves to be the wall that enemies break against, the Helm of Saint-14 is a terrific Exotic helmet. Its perk, Starless Night, grants an overshield to allies who enter the Ward of Dawn and instantly blinds enemies who venture into this domain. For the stats, strength and discipline will need to be buffed, resilience, mobility, and recovery are average, and intellect is quite high and feeds into the Super-centric nature of this Exotic.
- Mobility: 10
- Resilience: 11
- Recovery: 11
- Discipline: 6
- Intellect: 20
- Strength: 6
- Total: 64
The Bombardiers (Exotic Hunter leg armor)
The Bombardiers give you options as a Hunter, as the Parting Gift perk allows you to leave behind an explosive that applies an elemental effect to a target based on the subclass that you have equipped. Depending on your setup, you’ll be able to blind, scorch, suppress, slow, or sever targets. There’s a pretty good Solar build using The Bombardiers that allows you to combo powerful effects to burn the field clean of enemies. The stats on this roll are mixed, as while mobility, resilience, and strength are average to high, recovery and discipline are very low.
- Mobility: 12
- Resilience: 18
- Recovery: 2
- Discipline: 2
- Intellect: 10
- Strength: 20
- Total: 64
Eye of Another World (Exotic Warlock helmet)
Cerebral Uplink allows a Warlock to highlights priority targets and improves the regeneration speed of grenade, melee, and rift abilities. This is a pretty solid Exotic for PvP, and in PvE, you can pair this with a Stasis Turret build to inflict a ton of damage on enemies. For the stats, there’s very little resilience, intellect, and strength, but recovery and discipline have received the lion’s share of the numbers.
- Mobility: 10
- Resilience: 2
- Recovery: 24
- Discipline: 25
- Intellect: 2
- Strength: 6
- Total: 69
Exotic Weapons
Arbalest (Exotic linear fusion rifle)
One of the rare lienar fusion rifles that can be equipped in your Energy slot, Arbalest fires slugs that cause massive damage to combatant shields. It’s also strong against Barrier Champions, so if you don’t feel like having an auto rifle on you when you deal with those enemies, this is a good Exotic option to have thanks to the long-distance advantage. Also, it produces some of the best sound effects in Destiny 2, right behind Graviton Lance.
- Compounding Force
- Extended Barrel
- Projection Fuse
- Disruption Break
- Composite Stock
Hawkmoon (Exotic hand cannon)
For Hawkmoon this week, we’ve got a pretty fantastic PvP roll of Hawkmoon, Opening Shot is the perk of the week–improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of an attack–and the rest of this hand cannon’s traits make it a powerful option if you’re planning to enter the Crucible this weekend.
- Paracausal Shot
- Alloy Magazine
- Opening Shot
- Fluted Barrel
- Smooth Grip

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
