It’s a Friday, and as is tradition in Destiny 2, Xur has arrived with a fresh stock of arms and armor. There are still several months to go before The Final Shape arrives, but if you’re planning for that final showdown against The Witness, there’s no harm in paying a visit to the Agent of the Nine. Here’s where you can find Xur this weekend and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur in the EDZ, in the Winding Cove area. For his weapon, Xur is offering The Queenbreaker. Hunters can pick up The Sixth Coyote chest armor; Titans can grab the Mk. 44 Stand Asides leg armor; and Warlocks can buy the Contraverse Hold gauntlets.
Xur Location
Spawn in at the Winding Cove transmat zone, then hop on your sparrow and go north. Take the collapsed overpass on the left and look for a cave near the bend in the road. Follow the tunnel through the cliff face to reach a higher ridge where a Fallen dropship has crashed; you’ll find Xur waiting there.

Exotic Armor
The Sixth Coyote (Exotic Hunter chest armor)
In PvE, The Sixth Coyote’s extra dodge can come in handy during high-level content, but this Exotic shines in PvP when you’re looking for that extra edge. The stats on this roll are high for mobility and strength, making it great for when you want to weave past danger and land a strong melee, while resilience, recovery, discipline, and intellect are between low to average at best.
- Mobility: 16
- Resilience: 9
- Recovery: 8
- Discipline: 10
- Intellect: 7
- Strength: 15
- Total: 66
Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Exotic Titan leg armor)
These Exotic boots have a singular focus, and that’s keeping you alive for a little longer when you’re looking to land a Titan slam attack. When you’re at full health and you’re equipped with either Seismic Strike, Hammer Strike, or Shield Bash, you’ll generate an overshield once you start sprinting. Landing an attack with one of these charged melees will also recharge a portion of that ability energy. The stats on this Exotic don’t favor run-and-slam action, as resilience, mobility, and strength are quite low, while recovery and intellect are much higher in comparison.
- Mobility: 7
- Resilience: 8
- Recovery: 20
- Discipline: 2
- Intellect: 23
- Strength: 7
- Total: 67
Contraverse Hold (Exotic Warlock gauntlets)
For the Warlock Voidwalker who enjoys hurling grenades, Contraverse Hold is a pretty great Exotic option. While charging a Void grenade, you’ll gain increased damage resistance and a portion of energy will be refunded back to you for this ability. The discipline stat is pretty good on this Exotic, while mobility is favored more than is ideal for a Warlock. Strength, intellect, and resilience are on the lower side, so you’ll need to mod those gaps in your build if you equip this Exotic.
- Mobility: 15
- Resilience: 7
- Recovery: 12
- Discipline: 16
- Intellect: 7
- Strength: 7
- Total: 64
Exotic Weapons
The Queenbreaker (Exotic linear fusion rifle)
If you’re looking to do some precision damage, The Queenbreaker can provide some electrifying offense in your power slot. It works well with an Arc subclass build, as precision hits will chain damage to nearby targets and blind them on hit, making this useful for bosses who are usually surrounded by cannon fodder goons.
- Wire Rifle
- Marksman Sights
- Enhanced Battery
- Hip-Fire Grip
- Fitted Stock
Hawkmoon (Exotic hand cannon)
Another week, another forgettable roll of Hawkmoon. Snapshot Sights gives you a quicker time to aim down sights, but the difference isn’t that great.
- Paracausal Shot
- Fluted Barrel
- Alloy Magazine
- Snapshot Sights
- Combat Grip

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
